Dr. Yu is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where she did her undergraduate studies in music. She decided to pursue dentistry as her career and went on to receive her DDS degree from the University Michigan, Ann Arbor. After her years in the Midwest, she went farther east for her post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry from the New York University College of Dentistry. She decided to come back to sunny southern California where she grew up to practice pediatric dentistry.

As a pediatric dental specialist, Dr. Yu understands the psychological and emotional demands of working with children. She is an advocate of early intervention and prevention, and her goal is to make every dental appointment a positive experience for the child and the parent, contributing to a healthy dental future for the children she treats.

She is also dedicated in sharing with the community and serving those in need locally and abroad.
